Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reinforced container with heat resistant and heat insulating properties by pressure-welding an opening rim of a packaging container molded of a foam sheet of a polyethylene terephthalate resin to be in a non- foaming state. SOLUTION: After a foaming ester resin sheet material is heated to a temperature suitable for fabrication and softened, the sheet material is supplied to a mold to form into a container 1 having a predetermined shape. At the same time, an opening rim 2 or a corner on a bottom part of the container is contact- bonded and fused by a heater provided at the rim part or the bottom part to crush bubbles of a foam, thereby forming a non-foaming reinforced portion 2a at the opening rim or the corner of the bottom of the foam container. |
