Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce practical biodegradable plastic products by mixing an additive into polypropylene(PP), thereby prolonging a service life, reducing a weight and reducing a cost. SOLUTION: The biodegradable plastic tableware is produced by mixing the biodegradable additive into the inexpensive and lightweight PP at a ratio of 85 to 70% PP and 30 to 15% biodegradable additive and molding the mixture in order to, for instance, make the service life thereof triple, the weight 60% and the cost one third and to produce the practical biodegradable plastic products. As a result, the practicability as the tableware for business use may be obtained. In addition, the diversion of the conventional metal molds of 100% PP as this mixing ratio as threshold and molding equipment to the molding equipment is possible. The electrification of static electricity which is the drawback of the PP products may be remarkably lessened.
