Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging device reduced in the degradation of an image attributable to a poor level of the phase accuracy in a detection circuit of NMR(Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) signal. SOLUTION: In a reception system in which an NMR(Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) signal detected by a receiving coil 14 is amplified by an amplifier 15, and detected by a front mixer 22 and detection mixers 23a, 23b to implement the orthogonal detection, and A/D converted by ADCs 17a, 17b to be re-formed by a CPU 1, an L0C signal from a high frequency oscillator 8 is separated into components having the phase difference of π/2 by an orthogonal phase distributor 24, and the phase difference is corrected by passing the error caused by the orthogonal phase distributor 24 through a phase correction circuit 26 before inputting in the detection mixers 23a, 23b. Regarding the phase difference, the output value of the orthogonal phase distributor 24 is compared with the detection mixer 23b and determined by the CPU 1 from the output, and the CPU 1 controls the phase correction circuit 26.
