PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the stable turning-over of the pages of a booklet by a providing turning-over means, which engages with a booklet-like medium so as to allow to turn over its pages, and a turning-over auxiliary device for helping the engagement between the booklet-like medium and the turning-over and/or separating the turned-over page from the turning-over means. SOLUTION: The automatic page turning-over unit 20 is to feed a booklet-like medium P such as a bankbook or the like along a feed path FP and, at the same time to turn-over the pages of the booklet-like medium P and equipped with a turning-over means 22, a turning-over auxiliary means 24, a feeding means 26 or the like. The turning-over means 22 is provided so as to turn-over the pages of the booklet-like medium P jointly with the turning-over auxiliary means 24 or the feeding means 26 or the like. The turning-over auxiliary means 24 corrects the state of the booklet-like medium P before and after the start of the turning-over action with the turning-over means 22 so as to help the page turning-over action of the booklet-like medium P. For example, when the edge faces of the booklet-like medium P introduces in the turning-over means 22 deform, the means press the edge face so as to check its deformations.
