Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a preset printing density by correcting the energization amount to be applied on a thermal printing head according to the continuous printing amount. SOLUTION: In a printing process, a CPU 2 executes a head application voltage setting process for setting a head application voltage set according to the number of printing lines by a voltage correction table 41 stored in a RAM described later, and a one lile printing process for printing per each one line by the set head application voltage. In the one line printing, a printing history data corresponding to the printing data for one digit are stored in a history memory in the RAM 4. The pulse width of the application voltage corresponding to the printing history data is obtained from a history table stored in a history table memory in the RAM 4 for energizing a thermal head of a printing device 6 for executing the printing operation per each digit.
