Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a corrosion prevention control device and a corrosion prevention control method, which are capable of evaluating rightly the property of a corrosion resistant film without affecting the operation of a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A model inlet port water chamber 22 is communicated with a model outlet port water chamber 24 through at least one piece of monitor tube 21 attached to the inlet port tube plate 23 of the model inlet port water chamber 22 and the outlet port tube plate 25 of the model outlet port water chamber 24 while a model checking electrode 30, provided in the model inlet port water chamber 22, and an electric potential measuring wire 31, attached to the monitor tube 21, are connected to an electric potential measuring instrument 32. In this case, the model inlet port water chamber 22 is connected to the sea water inlet port water chamber 2 of a heat exchanger through a bypass inlet port valve while the model outlet port water chamber 24 is connected to the sea water outlet port water chamber 3 of the heat exchanger or another water discharging system having a low pressure. |
