Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely stop the operation of a motion base without destroying data, programs, etc., by connecting a means which stops the operation of the motion base by turning off the power source to the driver of an actuator. SOLUTION: An operator can stops the operation of the motion base 12 directly by operating an emergency stop switch 166 connected to a motor driver 56. Namely, once the emergency stop switch 166 is operated, the electric power supplied to cylinder driving motors 44A to 44F and a table driving motor 52 are cut off through the motor driver 56 to turn on a brake mechanism to stop the rod parts of cylinders A to F from operating, so that the operation of the motion base 12 stops. In this case, even if simulation software on a host computer runs away and a motion controller 20 gets out of order, the motion base 12 is securely stopped and fixed.
