Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inject a combustion flame in a wide range and to improve a melting effect by mounting a pair of thermal storage burners having a tilting unit at a sidewall of a molten metal furnace body and including burner nozzles in vertical or lateral specific angle range toward a material to be melted in a furnace. SOLUTION: A combustion flame is injected from a burner nozzle to a material A to be melted placed in a melting furnace body 1 and the material is melted. In this case, when a rod of a cylinder 7 is retracted, a thermal storage burner 3 is inclined to an upper position 3a on a shaft 8a of a vertical bracket 8, and hence the flame is injected down to melt a lower portion of the material A. Meanwhile, when the rod is extended, the burner 3 is inclined to a lower position 3b, and hence the flame is injected upward, and an upper portion of the material A can be melted. The burner 3 is inclined in ranges of 20 to 30 degrees in vertical or lateral direction. Thus, the overall material A can be uniformly melted. |
