Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a frequency hopping communication system that selects an optimum master station for connection among a plurality of master stations which are operated asynchronously to easily establish synchronization with the master station. SOLUTION: This frequency hopping communication system, for applying multiple address access to a radio LAN through frequency hopping, is provided with master stations each of which conducts frequency hopping asynchronously under set frequencies, a modem 140 of each slave station that sends/receives data to/from the master station, master station retrieval sections 120, 130, 150 that set a retrieval frequency to the modem for a prescribed retrieval time at the start of communication and select an optimum master station for connection to each slave station on the basis of a control frame included in a frame received from a plurality of the master stations, and hopping control sections 210, 220 that predict a frequency hopping index and a remaining resident time at synchronization from information of the control frame about the hopping pattern of a frequency of the optimum master station and set a frequency identified from the predicted frequency hopping index to the modem for the remaining resident time to establish synchronization. |
