Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a printed antenna of an insulating substrate and a conductor line formed on the insulating substrate, and to reduce the size of the insulating substrate by reducing the area of this print antenna occupying on the upper face of the insulating substrate by providing one part of the conductor line on the edge face of the insulating substrate. SOLUTION: This print antenna is constituted of an insulating substrate 1 and a conductor line 2 formed by the non-electrolytic plating of copper on the insulating substrate 1. The insulating substrate 1 is formed as the mother substrate of a simplified portable telephone, and a transmitting circuit and a receiving circuit are formed on the upper face or lower face. The conductor line 2 is provided with first-third conductors 3-5 being one part of the conductor line 2 formed like a band shape. The first conductor 3 is formed on a first edge face 1a of the insulating substrate 1, and the second and third conductors 4 and 5 are formed on an upper face 1b of the insulating substrate 1. The first conductor 3 is formed on the first edge face 1a of the insulating substrate 1 so that the area of the print antenna occupying the upper face 1b of the insulating substrate 1 can be reduced. Thus, the print antenna can be formed even when the size of the insulating substrate 1 is reduced. |
