Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fuse of such a structure that a thermo-sensing element such as soluble alloy, thermo-sensing pellet, etc., is installed in a case and leads are led out therefrom, wherein the leads can be attached and connected by soldering to an electric appliance or the like without causing the thermo-sensing element to fuse. SOLUTION: A soluble alloy 4 is installed in an insulated case 1 and leads 2 and 3 are led out of it, and on the way of the leads 2 and 3, dividing parts 8 and 9 are provided to divide the leads into portions 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b and having electroconductive members 10 and 11 wherein the lead portions 2a and 2b and ones 3a and 3b are connected together electrically and mechanically. The heat generated at soldering the leads is 2b or 3b detoured around the conductive members 10 and 11, and through the synergetic effect of the reduction of the conducted heat and the heat diffusion, the amount of the heat conducted to the soluble alloy 4 is reduced, and thereby the soluble alloy 4 is precluded from erroneous fusion.
