Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing liquid crystal display panel in which a development lead time is shortened and change-over loss in a photographic process is improved in development of a new display screen size. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises a process for forming plural conductive lines 2 for scanning at prescribed intervals on a substrate 1 within a prescribed range larger than a display screen size of the product, a process for forming plural conductive lines 4 for signal lines at prescribed intervals in a form of crossing the conductive lines 2 for scanning on the substrate in a prescribed range, a process for forming plural active elements 5 corresponding to the parts where the conductive lines 2 for scanning lines and the conductive lines 4 for signal lines overlap each other, a process for forming plural pixel electrodes 6 according to the display screen size of the product, and a process for forming plural mounted electrodes 7, 8 to be connected with the conductive lines for signal lines or the conductive lines for scanning lines by overlapping the electrodes 7, 8 on the part outside of the screen size of the product in the conductive lines 4 for signal lines and the conductive lines 2 for scanning lines.
