Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the positional accuracy of a horizontal linearity coil which is constituted by adjacently arranging magnets on the end face of a drum core and, in addition to improve the efficiency in work, by providing recessed and projecting guides on the end faces of the core and magnets. SOLUTION: A drum core 1 has flanges 1a and 1b at both ends and a central winding section 1c wound with a coil 2. Magnets 3 have recessed sections 3a which becomes guides at the putting of the magnets 3 on the flange 1a or 1b of the core 1 on their surfaces adjoining to the core 1 and projecting sections 3b, which becomes guides at the putting of the magnets 3 in a terminal board 4 on their surfaces adjoining the board 4. On the side face of the magnets 3, a plurality of vertical grooves are provided for leading the winding of the coil 2 to terminals 4b. The terminal board 4 has a recessed section 4a, which has a nearly the same shape as that of the projecting sections 3b of the magnets 3 and becomes a guide at the putting of the magnets 3 in the board 4 on its surface which adjoins the magnets 3 and a plurality of terminals 4b studded on the other surface. The drum core 1, magnets 3, and terminal board 4 are integrally stuck to each other with an adhesive resin 5.
