Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the heat-developable photosensitive material high in sensitivity and low in fog and small in fluctuation of characteristics due to storage and superior in image stability and to provide the heat-developable photosensitive material and the image forming method and the heat-developing apparatus restrained from occurrence of scratches and damages and uneven development and superior in conveyability. SOLUTION: The heat-developable photosensitive material (a) contains a silver halide photosensitive emulsion and an organic silver salt and a silver ion reducing agent and a hydrophobic binder and further, a gelatin in an amount of 45-500 mg/m2 on a support, and (b) contains a silver halide photosensitive emulsion and an organic silver salt and a silver ion reducing agent and a hydrophobic binder and further, a wax.
