Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a peeling agent excellent in close adhesion to an aluminum vase material and capable of obtaining a good adhesive property of a foamed urethane toward a peel-treated layer at the back surface of a tacky tape by specifying the amount of a long chain alkylisocyanate. SOLUTION: This peeling agent is obtained by reacting (A) a polyvinyl alcohol with (B) a long chain alkylisocyanate, using 10-30 mole% amount of the component B based on the hydroxyl group of the component A. Further, it is preferable that the degree of saponification of the component A is >=95% and its mean degree of polymerization is 100-1,000. For example, in order to obtain the objective peeling agent, it is preferable to add the component A having 500 mean degree of polymerization and 98% degree of saponification to dimethylsulfoxide, dissolve it by heating and add a previously heated mixture of octadecylisocyanate with xylene little by little for reacting the mixture for 3 hr at 140 deg.C under agitation.
