Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pavement material having sufficient strength by solidification molding a mixture obtained by adding cement and water to the ash subjected to a crushing treatment, thereby considerably increasing the compounding ratio of the ash. SOLUTION: A ball mill, tube mill, etc., are used for the pulverization treatment of the ash (e.g.: sludge incineration ash). More preferably, the dry density of the ash after the crushing is made larger by >=0.2 g/cm3 than the dry density of the ash prior to the crushing and to >=0.7 g/cm3. Portland cement, etc., are used as the cement. Molding is so executed that a moisture content ratio attains 5 to 40% when press molding, vacuum press molding or vibration molding is carried out and that the moisture content ratio attains 10 to 80% when extrusion molding or vacuum molding is executed. When the ash contains dioxins, etc., a dioxin decomposing agent is added to the ash. The bending strength of the solidification molding is preferably >=50 kgf/cm2 and the compressive strength >=330 kg/cm2. |
