SOLUTION: A method for purification contg. a process for extracting and removing org. halogen compd. from a solid substance by bringing the solid substance contg. org. halogen compd. such as dioxin into contact with high temp. high pressure water with the satd. vapor pressure or higher at 200-370 deg.C and a purification facility provided with extractors 11-13 for extracting and removing the org. halogen compd., a water feeding means 2 for feeding high temp. high pressure water to the extractors and a decomposition means 32 for decomposing extracted substances obtd. in the extracting and removing process, are provided.
