Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption, to reduce the required withstand voltage of the constituting components of a video signal system and an amplifier system, to perform miniaturization and to lower a price by narrowing the dynamic range of the video signals of a cathode-ray tube for a lightness adjustment voltage. SOLUTION: The video signals are clamped at a specified level by a clamp circuit 5, the DC potential of the one, a cathode K for instance, to which the video signals are not inputted between a grid electrode G1 and the cathode K is changed by the operation of a lightness adjustment means 4a and lightness is adjusted. Since the lightness adjustment voltage is not included in the video signals, the dynamic range of the video signals to the dynamic range of the same luminance can be narrow for that. |
