Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give fixed strength and good insulation and simplify working by forming a crossbar holding together movable contacts of a plurality of poles into a fixed form by pressing and heating a roll winding glass fiber woven cloth impregnated with an epoxy resin or slilcone resin from the center. SOLUTION: Glass fiber woven cloth is impregnated with an epoxy resin or the like of good strength and insulation, and cut off into a fixed size, and after being wound centering around a thin core bar while being heated, the core bar is drawn out, set in a pair of metal molds and pressed and heated. and molded into a square section. Because a metallic core is not used, the molding work is simple and deterioration of insulation is not generated. Further strength of fiber made continuous by the molding is added, and there is no unevenness against mechanical stress in the any direction of the section. A plurality of contact holders of the poles are mounted on the crossbar by a caulking tool, and all the switching contacts are simultaneously opened/closed.
