Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera apparatus inside of which is hardly fogged and to activate the catalytic effect by a photocatalyst to obtain sharp images by disposing a light source which emits IR rays and UV rays between a camera main body and a photocatalyst film housed in a case. SOLUTION: The camera apparatus main body 1 has a case 11 which is formed into almost a sphere by engaging the upper and lower covers 12, 13 of the case 11 which upper and lower rings 14, 15 in a tightly sealed state. The lower cover 13 is formed into an almost hemisphere made of a light- transmitting resin such as an acrylic resin, and the outer face of the cover is coated with a photocatalyst such as titanium dioxide. The photocatalyst is a film which transmits visible rays such as in the >=400 nm wavelength region and absorbs UV rays such as in the <=400 nm wavelength region and which has transmissivity for visible rays corresponding to the wavelength for good sensitivity of CCD. Moreover, by preparing the photocatalyst with transmission wavelength for >=400 nm visible rays, an enough photocatalytic effect can be obtd. |
