Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce access time by dividing a picture into picture blocks, constituting a row with the group of the blocks for picture width and accumulating data in the continuous pages of a dynamic random access memory as the picture blocks continuing in an order corresponding to the operation of a television system. SOLUTION: For obtaining a picture reformed in a memory, the moving accumulation blocks (h) and (v) of dimensions (h) and (v) are estimated and the blocks of the present picture are compared with the blocks (H and V) of the dimensions H and V of the picture, which is reformed and accumulated. The blocks (h) and (v) are accumulated in the page of the memory of an SDRAM system with a processing. When the arrangement of a memory space is viewed, the boundary of the pages is moved. Thus, access to the block of 17 lines ×9 pixels is not a four pages change but a three pages change. Access to a picture block 10 is a two pages change and that to a picture block 11 is formed of the four pages change.
