Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound capable of synthesizing without using a volatile nitrophenylacetylene derivative and useful as a synthetic intermediate for a thermosetting resin, a liquid crystalline material, a nonlinear optical material or a material for a gas separation membrane, etc. SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I [R1 and R4 are each a secondary or tertiary alkyl, (t)-butoxy, a benzyloxy or an alyloxy; R2 and R3 area each H or alkyl; R5 and R6 are each a substituting group substitutable with a benzene ring (halogen, a 1-20C alkyl or cyano); and (m) and (n) are each 0-4]. The compound of formula I is obtained by subjecting a compound of formula II and a compound of formula III to coupling in the presence of a copper slat or oxygen. The compounds of formulae II and III can be obtained by acylating a halogen-substituted aniline without passing nitrophenylacetylenes having a possibility of explosion and synthesizing by using an acetylene compound and a palladium catalyst. |
