Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate electric connector having a short transmission path between contact parts, capable of obtaining a wiping effect, and having no delay of signals, and also provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A contact obtained by working a metallic sheet forms one continuous belt-like path with a plurality of curved parts, both end parts of the belt-like path form held parts 5 held by peripheral edges of hole parts 2A, 3A formed in a plate-like housing 1, two portions in an intermediate part of the contact are plastically deformed in opposite directions to each other in the thickness direction so that they are positioned beyond the compass of the plate thickness of the housing and form contact parts 6A, 6B, respectively, and a transmission path 7 is formed between the two contact parts 6A, 6B.
