Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet-type image forming device capable of satisfactorily forming an image by a simple structure without causing soil from the beginning of image formation. SOLUTION: Beneath a developing roller 1 for development by the supply of liquid developer to a belt-like photoreceptor, a developing blade 2, whose front-end edge is in contact with the roller, is disposed. Beneath the developing blade 2, an elastic brush roller 3, which is in contact with the developing roller 1 and developing blade 2 all the time, is disposed. A reservoir 5 being approximately in the shape of a box which is open at the top and storing the liquid developer T is disposed with the brush roller 3 accommodated therein. A liquid- developer spatter prevention plate 6 is disposed in the direction of the rotation of the brush roller 3 in which the front-end edge of the developing blade 2 is directed to it from the contact part of the brush roller 3 and developing roller 1. Even in case the contact part of the developing roller 1 and brush roller 3 is not impregnated with the liquid developer T in the reservoir 5 at the beginning of printing, with the result that the liquid developer T spatters by an elastic force, the liquid developer T strikes against the liquid-developer spatter prevention plate 6 and therefore does not soil the surroundings. |
