Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission type screen having good optical characteristics. SOLUTION: The transmission type screen has a structure obtained by laminating a Fresnel lens screen 1, a lenticular lens screen 2 and a front plate 3. A filmlike Fresnel lens screen 1 having 0.1-0.5 mm thickness is used as the Fresnel lens screen 1. The Fresnel lens screen 1 is stuck to the front plate 3 at the outside of the effective picture plane of the screen. Members having a prescribed coefficient of thermal expansion are used as the front plate 3 and the Fresnel lens screen 1 so that the Fresnel lens screen 1 is stretched under a prescribed tension without waving due to the difference between the coefficients of thermal expansion of both the members in the stuck state to the front plate 3. |
