PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill a refrigerant from a cold head side by providing a passage for filling a refrigerant that communicates with invalid space from the outside at a cylinder holder and at the same time providing a plug member for blocking the passage from external operation. SOLUTION: A plug member used when filling a refrigerant is provided at both of a gas compressor 100 and a cold head 200. When filling the refrigerant, a cap is removed and a refrigerant-filling tool 220 is fitted to a supporting part 204-2 by twisting. Further, a knob for rotary operation is pushed down and is rotated, thus moving the plug member 210 upward and hence opening a passage 204-3. In this state, a pressurized refrigerant is filled via piping 230 for filling the refrigerant. The pressurized refrigerant blocks the passage 204-3 through a cut-out part at one portion of the side surface of the plug member 210. After the filling is completed, the supply of the pressurized refrigerant is stopped, the plug member 210 is rotated by a knob and is moved to a lower portion, thus blocking the passage 204-3.
