Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a space formed under a camshaft to arrange a breather chamber by locating the rotatable camshaft located in a cylinder head on the side of a cylinder bore when seen from the cylinder central direction. SOLUTION: A camshaft 10 located in a cylinder head 4 and rotatably supported within a cam chamber 11 is located on the right side of a cylinder bore when seen from the cylinder central direction. Therefore, a space is formed on the right of a cylinder 3 under the camshaft 10. A breather chamber 13 is located in the state parallel to the cylinder bore on the rear side, which is the same side as the cylinder bore, of a chain chamber 12 for housing a chain for rotating the camshaft 10. According to this, since the breather chamber 13 can be arranged by use of the space under the camshaft 10, the formation of a new space for the arrangement of the breather chamber 13 is dispensed. Consequently, the enlargement of an internal combustion engine 1 can be avoided. |
