Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber capable of controlling the braking force of front, rear, right and left wheels in a good manner by properly operating a control valve for controlling a braking balance among the front, rear, right and left wheels. SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 60 for detecting the inner pressure of a gas chamber 6b and inputting a detection signal G to a CPU 61 is provided. The CPU 61 inputs a control signal H to a solenoid 70 when a value for the detection signal G is greater (a live load is increased), to operate a load sensing valve 64 so that the distribution rate of a rear side oil pressure B to a front side oil pressure A is larger than in an unladen condition. If a live load is heavy, the rate of the braking force of a rear wheel braking mechanism 65 to the braking force of a front wheel braking mechanism 66 is larger than in an unladen condition to give proper braking effect corresponding to the weight of a vehicle and to improve control stability and comfortability. The combination of a self-levelling hydraulic shock absorber and a load sensing valve avoids non-controlled braking force of front and rear wheels due to the non-operated load sensing valve which was possibly caused in the past time. |
