Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain simplification of high-reliability automatic averaging processing and the other data processing or operation by automatically sorting good and defective data on the basis of cardiac magnetic measurement or brain magnetic measurement using a single biological magnetic field measuring instrument. SOLUTION: Concerning the biological magnetic field measuring instrument, a characteristic waveform (heartbeat, for example,) repeatedly appearing in a biological activity is recognized from a measured signal waveform, one of measured heartbeats is registered as a reference waveform, the degree of difference from the reference waveform is evaluated concerning respective measured heartbeat data, and averaging processing is executed while using only the waveform with the degree of difference lower than an allowable value. The waveforms higher than the allowable value are registered as abnormal data so as to be displayed. Identification information is applied to measuring conditions or data analytic conditions required for measuring a biological magnetic field and by designating the identification information in the case of measurement, the measuring conditions and analytic conditions can be read out.
