Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide higher operability to the user of communication terminal equipment in communication terminal equipment for operating data communication by itself and a communication method, using this communication terminal equipment. SOLUTION: This communication terminal equipment is provided with a data receiving part MS2 for receiving data from the other device through a mobile packet communication network MPN, a function for realizing communication via a mobile telephone network between a user and the user of the other device, and a processing part MS4 for extracting a write tag from data received from the data receiving part MS2, and for writing telephone numbers (information), corresponding to the tag in a redial memory MS10 and a telephone book memory MS11. Information in the redial memory MS10 and the telephone book memory MS11 is used for call setting processing.
