Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance recording and reproducing charctcteristics at a high linear velocity by successively forming a 1st recording film comprising a nitrogen- containing phase change material, a 2nd recording film comprising an oxygen- containing phase change material and a 3rd recording film comprising a nitrogen-containing phase change material. SOLUTION: A 1st dielectric layer 3 is formed on the surface of a substrate 2, comprising polycarbonete or the like by depositing ZnS-SiO2 or the like through sputtering. A 1st magnetic film 4a is formed on the 1st dielectric layer 3 by depositing a Ge-Sb-Te or Ag-In-Sb-Te phase change material. A 2nd recording film 4b comprising a Ge-Sb-Te phase change material, a 3rd recording film 4c comprising a Ge-Sb-Te or Ag-In-Sb-Te phase change material, a 2nd dielectric layer 5 comprising ZnS-SiO2, a heat diffusion layer 6 and a protective coat 7 are then successively formed to obtain an optical disk 1. |
