Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register attached files at registration positions specified by users by determining the registration positions of a storage device that a document sharing server reads according to the header information of electronic mail and registering the attached files. SOLUTION: The electronic mail is inputted to a mail information analysis part 207 and held in a mail header 202, a mail body 203, attached files 204 and 205, and an electronic signature 206. The analysis part 207 extracts a corresponding individual certificate and registration position information from user information 208 prepared on the server according to the transmission source address included in the mail header 202. A digest is generated from the mail and the individual open key of the user information 208 and compared with an attached digest and when they are the same, the registration position information and attached files 204 and 205 are passed to a server registration part 209. The server registration part 209 arranges the attached files 204 and 205 at the registration positions of the storage device.
