Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a display device returnable to an initial state before an operation starts by constituting so as to return a mode selection state with a selection switch to the state before the operation started when the operation is ended and the operation was forcedly interrupted. SOLUTION: This display device is constituted so as to return the mode selection state by the selection switch to the state before the operation started when the operation is ended and the operation is forcedly interrupted. For instance, in an oven range, when a cancellation switch 17 is operated in progress of respective heating cooking, and the operation is forcedly stopped, the contents of a display mode flag are judged, and when that stores power saving mode information, a displaying switch 23 is made an off state. On the contrary, when the display mode flag stores display mode information, a signal showing a present time is sent from a microcomputer in a controller 5 to the display device 21 while keeping the displaying switch 23 to the on state, and thereafter, the control is returned to a prescribed step.
