Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of due condensation at a motor portion of a pump for circulating ice making water and production of white ice by completely discharging residual ice making water in the pump. SOLUTION: An ice making machine comprises an ice making water sparkling pipe 16 which is disposed at an upper part of an ice making portion 10, and an ice making water tank 18 which is disposed at a lower part of the ice making portion 10. A drain pump 28 is arranged at a drain pipe 26 whose one end is connected to the bottom portion of the tank 18, so that residual ice making water in the tank 18 is discharged by the operation of the drain pump 28. An ice making water circulating pump 22 is located at an ice making water circulating pipe 20 which connects the tank 18 and the pipe 16. The pump 22 is placed at a higher level than a connecting port 26a of the drain pipe 26 which is connected to the bottom portion of the tank 18. Accordingly, when the drain pump 28 is operated, the residual ice making water in the pump 22 is completely discharged.
