Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing resin composition for water repellent coatings which lasts water repellency and exerts excellent water repellency and coated matter coated with the same. SOLUTION: This curing resin composition for water repellent coatings comprises (A) a silicone acrylic block polymer obtained by polymerizing (a1) an acrylic monomer having a cross-linkable functional group or a mixture of (a1) the acrylic monomer and (a2) another ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the presence of an azo group-containing silicone macro initiator, (B) a curing agent which reacts with (A) the silicone acrylic block polymer and (C) a power of an inorganic oxide subjected to a hydrophobic treatment.
