Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ice maker trouble from occurring by providing a detecting means which operates in response to the variation of a supply state of ice making water which flows in a water supply pipe, and detecting the reduction of the supply of the ice making water due to the stop of a water supply to a supply water tank, or a failure of a water feeding pump. SOLUTION: When a water supply from a water supply pipe 17 is stopped due to a failure of a water feeding pump, or a suspension of water supply, ice making water stored in a supply water tank 12 gradually reduces, and the ice making water which is fed to this ice making water supply detecting device 40 through a water supply pipe 13 is used up. Thus, the volume of the ice making water resided in a case main body of the ice making water supply detecting device 40 reduces, and the float of a first float switch moves downward, and is placed under an off state. By this motion, the signal is output to a control device, and the ice making operation of an ice maker 10 is stopped, and troubles of a refrigerating unit 31 and a water feeding pump 14 due to no-load operation, can be avoided in advance.
