PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal information updating device capable of registering transfer from all municipalities and updating related personal information managed by any other municipality without needing any human intervention in accordance with the updation of personal information managed by one municipality. SOLUTION: A personal identification card 20 records the pair of code of a managing source municipality and a personal number for each job to deal with personal information. A reception terminal 16 transmits information inputted from the personal identification card 20 and change information inputted through an input device 19 to a total window server 11 as application information. The total window server 11 compares the managing source municipality code inputted concerning the job related to the change information with the code of a change destination municipality based on this change information and discriminates whether or not databases 13 and 15 preserved by an application reception source are to be updated and whether or not a database preserved by the other municipality is to be updated, and the application information is transmitted to a job system having the database to be updated.
