Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactive distillation method minimizing the formation of a by-product and large in the forming rate of the product. SOLUTION: The reactive distillation method is executed in the column having the packing 2 set as a catalyst carrier 23. The fluids 3 and 4 constituting the two phases having each different density are made to flow in the packing 2. Internal volumetric flow 300 is set for the fluid 3 larger in density, and the value exists within a surrounding interval 1 of a characteristic value (a), and the value is related to the residence time distribution of the fluid 3 larger in density. At the specified value, the variance (s) of the residence time distribution becomes minimum as the function of the internal volumetric flow, and at the boundary of the interval, the internal volumetric flow is 30%, preferably 10%, over of the characteristic value.
