Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stain-removing gum composition having excellent cleaning power against stain in the oral cavity, especially stain such as tea-incrustations and capable of conveniently performing cleaning at any place by adding the main base material consisting of a complex of a gelatin and a polyphenol with an abrasive. SOLUTION: This composition is composed of (A) the main base material consisting of a complex of a gelatin obtained by decomposing collagen followed by purification and a polyphenol such as gallic acid (ester) and (B) an abrasive (an average particle size is preferably 0.1-100 μm) such as precipitated silica. Further, it is preferable that the amount of the polyphenol compound to be added is 1/5 to 1/1 the net weight of the gelatin, and the amount of the abrasive is 1/10 to 1/1 the net weight of the gelatin. |
