Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the bridge mechanism of an acoustic guitar which has functions of finely adjusting string height and string length, can be fitted to the curved surface of a soundboard with some irregularities and has high fitting strength. SOLUTION: The bridge mechanism 20 of the acoustic guitar 10 comprises a fitting plate 21 that is a plate body which is fixed to the surface of the soundboard 12, thin, and laterally long along guitar strings S and has string fixing holes 22 and a recessed surface part 23, a base plate 31 which is fixed to the above recessed surface part and has plural screw hold parts 32 arranged without overlapping with the guitar strings while corresponding to the respective guitar strings, bridge members 41 which are arranged individually and independently corresponding to the guitar strings, have string hold parts 42 and are held movably in the front and rear directions through front and rear adjusting screws 43 and vertically through up and down adjusting screws 47, and fixing pins 51 which fix the guitar strings integrally to the string stopping holes.
