Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device capable of accurately estimating the center line of an observer's face. SOLUTION: When the upper half of the observer's body is photographed by a video camera and an image pickup signal is generated, the image pickup signal is outputted as an image processing signal expressing the binary image of the upper half of the observer's body by an image processing circuit. Then, a microcomputer estimates the position of the center line of the observer's face based on a part from the upper end of the observer's face to he(her) neck out of the binary image being the image processing signal. |
