Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reckless movement of a movable body even when power is cut off due to power failure or the like without greatly increasing costs in a linear motor. SOLUTION: A movable body 3 is arranged along a base 1 being laid along a specific path while the movable body can be moved. A thrust is imparted to the movable body 3 by magnetic operation being generated between a magnet 2 being provided on the base 1 and an excitation coil 10 being mounted to the movable body 3. At the right-end side of the movable body 3, a mounting member 33 is detachably mounted by a bolt 32. An emergency stop brake device 34 is fixed to the mounting member 33. The emergency stop brake device 34 is brought into contact with a base 25 for a brake when no power is supplied, friction is generated by the contact, and damping force operates on the movable body 3. |
