Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate uneven coloring by calculating an ink liquid drop corrective ejection pitch when one coloring region is colored with a same nozzle, ejecting an ink liquid drop at the calculated pitch during each coloring scan and setting the least common multiple of corrective ejection pitch being used in each coloring region at a specified value or less. SOLUTION: When a multi-path system is combined with head shading correction, a corrective ejection pitch being used when one coloring region is colored with a same nozzle is calculated previously for each nozzle from the quantity of ink required for each coloring region and the quantity of ink being ejected from each nozzle at a time. Shift of hitting position of an ink drop when it is ejected at the calculated corrective ejection pitch during each coloring scan can be suppressed enough not to cause any visible uneven coloring by setting the least common multiple of corrective ejection pitch of the nozzle at 1 mm or less resulting in printing where uneven coloring is eliminated substantially.
