Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and speedily generate a sequence program and a device comment under an environment which is visually and easily recognized without the need f a complicated operation. SOLUTION: The unit constitution of a programmable controller is screen- displayed by a display processing with a unit display processing part 19 and the use/non-use of all devices are color-divided for respective units and they are list-displayed. Thus, the use/non-use of the devices by the sequence program are identified and displayed so that they are easily recognized in relation with the respective units. The use/non-use of the devices by the sequence program can be recognized at a glance for the respective units.
