Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an analyzer by which a protein in a trace amount in an electrolytic solution can be fractinated and quantitatively determined according to a molecular size by a method wherein a filter used to fractionate the protein and an adsorption column used to temporarily hold the fractionated protein are combined. SOLUTION: In a filter part X to which a sample liquid is introduced from a sample- liquid introduction part A, a protein, in the sample liquid, whose molecular size is larger than the pore size of a filter 34 is captured by the filter 34, and a protein whose molecular size is small is passed so as to be sent to a column absorption part Y. In the column adsorption part Y, the protein is adsorbed by a resin in a column 8 so as to be held temporarily, and it is sent to a reagent addition part B together with an eluate which is introduced by turning a valve V2. In the protein to which a reagent is added, its reaction with the reagent progresses while the protein flows in a pipe line 17 in a reaction part C. After that, also the protein which is captured by the filter 34 and whose molecular size is large is sent to the column adsorption part Y together with an introduced cleaning liquid. After that, the protein reacts with the reagent, Both proteins whose molecular sizes are small and large are detected respectively by a detection part D.
