PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester resin composition having excellent heat resistance and transparency in molding of blow molded container and to obtain the blow molded container using the composition. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a polyethylene terephthalate composed of a repeating unit as a main component derived from a dicarboxylic acid containing terephthalic acid and/or its ester-forming derivative and ethylene glycol and/or its ester-forming derivative-containing diol in which the ratio of diethylene glycol unit is 0.5-2.0 wt.% in the resin and the content of a cyclic trimer is >=0.5 wt.%, (B) an ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer and, if required, (C) a polyethylene. The content of the ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer (B) is 0.1-10,000 ppb in the composition.
