Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety valve having a simple structure with a small number of part items, for preventing water pressure in a showerhead from rising when water is cut off using the showerhead. SOLUTION: This showerhead 1 equipped with a water cutoff function whereby the discharge and cutoff of hot water can be switched through the operation of a button 18 has an inner flow passage divided into a primary flow passage 11 and a secondary flow passage 13 by a diaphragm 15 and a water cutoff valve 24 for opening and closing a water hole 17 in the diaphragm 15 to and from the secondary flow passage 13 and a spring 25 for pressing the water cutoff valve 24 toward a closed position intervene in a holding member 23 linked to the button 18. The water cutoff valve 24 and the spring 25 serve also as a safety valve which opens the water hole 17 when water pressure in the primary flow passage 11 rises to or above the set load of the spring 25 at which the water hole 17 can be closed during water cutoff. |
