Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording paper provided with a photographic printing-paperlike hand (the glossy feeling of a recorded face, outer appearance of a reverse side and touch), superior ink jet recording adaptability and printer runnability, on which the formation of curls are controlled. SOLUTION: An ink-jet recording paper is provided with a glossy layer formed on the side of a recording face of a paper base and a polyolefin resin- containing layer on its reverse side, and the 75 deg. glossiness (JIS-P8142) on the surface of the glossy layer is 30% or more, and the 75 deg. glossiness of the surface of the polyolefin resin containing layer is 50% or less.
