Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fabricate a V-groove in the transverse joint of a small block precisely by detecting the deviation of the longitudinal and the transverse joint position of the small block of a veneer laminated on a board from a reference position and correcting the position in the longitudinal direction of the board during fabricating a transverse groove and also correcting the lifting, fabrication starting and ending positions of a router. SOLUTION: The position in the longitudinal direction of a board 21 to be decided by the pushing of two air cylinders 51 is controlled by driving the air cylinders 51 provided on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the board 21, in the longitudinal direction of the board 21 with the help of a servo motor 58 through ball and threads 53. The size between the advance ends in stroke of the two air cylinders 51 is almost the same size in the longitudinal direction of the board 21. Thus it is possible to fabricate a transverse groove in a short time by attaching router units 91 previously to positions where the fabrication of the transverse groove in the board 21 is started, as a distance over which the router units 91 are made to travel by the servo motor 58 is acceptably almost the same as the width of a small block.
