Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive composition having a long pot life and excellent in adhesivity by compounding a particulate cement having a specific range of specific surface area, a liquid epoxy resin, and a water-soluble modified amine or a self-emulsifiable modified amine. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. of a particulate cement having a specific surface area of 5,000-10,000 cm2/g with an aqueous dispersion of an liquid epoxy resin, as the main agent, such as bisphenol A diglycidyl ether or the like, and 2-200 pts.wt., in terms of the solid content, of the total of a water-soluble modified amine or a self-emulsifiable modified amine as a curing agent in a stoichiometric ratio to the epoxy resin. The amount of water necessary for hardening of the cement is preferably 40-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the particulate cement, and the concentrations of the main agent and of the curing agent are adjusted so that the total amount of water contained therein matches it. If required, are admixed an organic thickener such as methyl cellulose or the like, a finely ground admixture having a specific surface area of at least 5,000 cm2/g such as blast furnace slag, calcium carbonate, silica fume or the like, a hardening accelerator and the like. |
